The true meaning of christmas

Halo Halo!!!!!! Ho Ho Ho

it's almost christmas you know. Dunno about the pace of this year but "me thinks" it went really fast, cuz when i think about all the stuff that happened in this one year, its been quite a whole lot.

Anyway, thats that. Wonder what christmas means to us all. For some, i guess its all about being on holidays, others gving and getting gifts, yet for some ,time to see family they haven't seen through the year. But for a fraction, it's a time to remember the unconditional love of God through his son Jesus, born to us on Christmas day. A promise that there is forgiveness of sin, A hope for salvation, A show of true love, A destiny to save our lives, A name we would learn to call upon when sick, in distress, sad, lonley, in trouble, for help, for love, for comfort, in times of trouble. A story that would touch so many and make them find their way back to God. A story of how a father sent his own son to redeem his childrem which he loves so much, so many of them yet unborn hence" before you were formed i knew you"

Anyway before i start repeating myself, all i am trying to say is we really should all take out time to find the true meaning of christmas this christmas and we just mite have a life changing experience!

For me christmas teaches me love, True, unconditional, pure love! We can only have and give that kind of love, if we get and have experienced it direct from source God! If you do not know God , you cannot know Love for God is love.

When you realise that God loves you dearly and he does! and you in turn love God, you want to be close to him and you want to walk with him and be in his presence all the time. When ye have experienced love with God, you can love others freely and purely.

Merry Christmas. And this is dedicated to you all who have found the true meaning of christmas and to you who would find it this christmas and many more christmases to come!

My friend has got a blog dedicated to one's walk with God or should i say his experiences, you mite want to check it out. Click here

Dylan Hartung's Web Page

Hey,
was reading from the MSN Celeb's gossip page, yeah yeah i read gossip once a while, and i came across a story on Nicole Kidman visiting a young Austrailian boy. His name is Dylan Hartung, he's suffering from Neuroblastoma. Dylan is a 6 year old Australian boy who was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma on 26th July 2004 when he was 5 years old.Dylan has received 11 rounds of intense Chemotherapy, but the Neuroblastoma cells still remain in his bones. This brave young boy is fighting a good fight for his life and God helping him, he's doing a very good job of it. His greatest desire is to meet Angelina Jolie, because he thinks she's an ultimade chic. If you want to read more on Dylan or support him in anyway you can click HERE. Reading about him and visiting the site really inspired me. We can overcome anything, if only we believe in God and ourselves................................

This thing called love!

How many people fully understand what love is all about. Isn't it sometimes funny how people you love do not love you back and those you don't love are crazy about you, or how you know some guy or girl isn't good enough for you but you just cannot get over your feelings, and you just want to be with them (and you do and sometimes get hurt or not). Or how you know your relationship is immeniently coming to an end but you still hang on because you cannot imagine life without them. Or you cannot imagine being with someone else because you have been with your partner for a couple of years. Or the thought that you would die if they left you. Or that you would never get over an ex. Or how come your ex moved on faster than you and you are still so lonley and without anyone! Or why a happy relationship just crumbles. Why you argue all the time. Why you are not such a happy couple anymore. Why your spouse suddenly asks for a divorce. Or why your spouse or partner cheats on you. Why all you want is to be happy and settled in a relationship and you just havent gotten it. Why everyone around you seems to be in happy and loving relationships and you are not. Why you have had a string of bad relationships. Why that really cute guy / girl woludn't just notice you even though you dream about him / her all the time. Why you feel the pain LITERARILY when you get heart broken.
Well i am as clueless as everyone else. We all just pray we find people who are made for us, People who will reciprocate our love and who wouldn't hurt us intentionally. Relationships and indeed life is a risk! All i can say is always give love purely and freely, you may not get it back from the one you gave it to, but you will surely get love back in return!

Live 8!!!!!!!!! The message!!!!!!

Saw the Live 8 concert in London on MTV Base yesterday. Was nice actually. Message was wonderful, We don't want your money, we want your voice and your support!. One can only hope that the reality of it all really set in. Saw a couple of interviews before the concert, and some people said they were going to the concert just to have a good time, and didn't really know much about the message behind the concert. Really loved the performance by Dido and Yossou N'dour. Not so perfect combination but not bad all the same. Well wonderful innitiative by Bob Geldof

The Sentimental Me!!!!!!!!!

Always said i wasn't sentimental, and bla bla bla........ , but i guess i just found the sentimental part of me. Now how did i do that? Well a couple of days ago, a really special friend gave me a Chris de Burgh cd, titled The Love Songs Album, and i took my time and listened to it and yes i did find that sentimental part. My best song is So Beautiful and i really like Here is your Paradise and Lady in Red which is like the most popular one. So Beautiful was soo soo beautiful and the lyrics just out of this world, that i couldn't help but put the lyrics below:

So Beautiful by Chris De Burgh

I'm lying here tonight, thinking of the days we've had,
Wondering if the world would be so beautiful,
If I had not looked into your eyes,
How did you know that I've been waiting?
I never knew the world would be so beautiful at all;

I'm spending all the days, dreaming of the nights we've had,
I never knew that love would be a miracle,
When I think of all the ones before,
But now that I've found you I am flying,
I never knew that love would be so beautiful to me,
I never knew that love would be so beautiful to me;

And when we dance to the rhythm that is burning like a flame,
And when you touch me I can hardly move you take my breath away,
You give me all that I want to feel when we become as one,
And then you take me to the heaven of your heart;
Did nobody ever tell you, you're the best thing that has ever been;

Ah... you... ah... so beautiful... ah... so beautiful...

I'm standing here tonight, thinking of the time we'll have,
I never knew that you would be so beautiful,
From the day you came into my life,
I just want to say, you make me happy,
I never knew that you would be so beautiful to me,
I never knew that you would be so beautiful to me;

So beautiful to me...
So beautiful to me...
So beautiful to me...
...to me.

I'm lying here tonight,
I'm dreaming here tonight,
I dance with you tonight...

Kingdom of Heaven

Now, i am not a fan of epic movies, but i think Kingdom of Heaven is really nice. I didnt want to go see it at first. I was supposed to go to the cinema with a couple of friends and i had been lamenting and telling them that i would rather watch another movie than watch it.
I didn't want to buy a ticket for it, but eventually i did and decided to just go watch it, since i saw Gladiator by the same director Ridley Scott and it became like one of my favorite movies. Really fell in love with Russell Crowe after Gladiator and would have cursed if he didn't win that Oscar, well thats by the way.

So i go into the cinema telling my friends i would sleep off before the movie is over and all. But to my total and greatest surprise, i was glued to my sit till the end of the movie, and ofcourse i once again fell in-love with the really gorgeous Orlando Bloom who acted the part of Balian of Ibelin (he's soooooooooo cute), and i would curse if he does not win an oscar.

Wonderful plot, even though the director tried to strike a balance between both religions, perhaps trying to create some sort of harmony between them. Seemed like he was clearly avoiding upsetting anyone.

Well its a keeper, would most definately buy a copy when it comes out on DVD. Think y'all should go see it, if your sceptical, you might want to visit the site before going to the cinema.

WEDDING PROPOSALS!

Was just looking at my friends wedding website. Ever wonder how the big question will be popped if it hasn't been yet? Or wonder how you would do it if you havent yet? Well i have always thought of it as a special day and moment, so it just has to be right. It doesn't have to be like overly fancy or anything but spectacular i would say, show stopper like in front of a crowd. He has to go on one knee and that's a must!!!!!!!!!!!!. Call me old fashioned, but im a sucker for romance, an unrepentant romantic i must add! ................................ stumbled on this link. if you were wondering about wedding proposals like me, you might want to read more...

Bo Bice My American Idol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well the whole American Idol Season 4 thingy has come to an end. I was wondering, which of the idol contestants would have a sucessful musical career, long after the American Idol fame thing dies out.I'm tipping quite a few, but first on my list is the one and only Bo Bice is he cool or what!

Simon says Constantine has got charisma, i think Bo's got more charisma than any Idol contestant ever had. He's a singer, performer plus lots more. I hoped to hear his name in the 2 hour finale but alas it was Carrie Underwood. I didn't even like her version of "Inside your Heaven". Reports say Bo's version which i absolutely adored is currently numbver 1 on the charts, while Carrie's version is 31. The big question is Did America vote right atall. Dont get me wrong, i think Carrie is a good Singer but Bo Bice is it.

And ofcourse after him i think Vonzell is also most likely to make it, and then Carrie Underwood, Scott Savoll, How could i forget our dear Anwar Robinson...............

My poem on life

This is just one of my poems, i kinda like it, what do you think?

Life is a tree
so wild and so free
there's no reason to rush
though things need a little push

Life is a phase
from which no one can trace
everyone tries to make haste
in the end they are laid waste

In life we can enthrall
when on wisdom we call
for there's not so much to it
but that wich is behind it

Atlantis- The lost Civilization

Atlantis - Myth or What?

I dunno about anyone else, but i don't think the continent of Atlantis ever existed. The stories seem sooo doctored. The funniest so far is that perhaps ATLANTIS is still in existence somewhere under Antarctica. Helooo how possible is that, how could a Continent supposedly one and a half times the size of America exist in isolation under Antarctica. The natives of Atlantis were supposed to have been many times more intelligent than the present day man, and civillization as it were at that point ended when Atlantis submerged.

yeah right!Now everyone is soo quick to support this theory with the words of Albert Einstien, where he says" if there's a third world war, the living would envy the dead and in the event of a fourth world war, the war would be fought with sticks and stones, because civilization as we know it would have ended with the third".

Well Atlantis geographically is located somewhere between North-America and Europe, but all the ruins found of the continent, were found on the sea bed of countries in the south of America. read a story once on proof of the existence of Atlantis, don't remember his name now but some guy who excarvated the ruins of the city of Troy, also believed to be a myth, found something linking some sort of relationship between Troy and Atlantis. I am not too sure now, but i think it was a vase, and a replica was said to be found in Bolivia.

Another funny account is perhaps when historians try to link the biblical account of Noah's Ark (The flood that destroyed the world) with Atlantis as proof that it existed. They say the story of Noa's Ark is the biblical account of the submerged Atlantis.
Personally i do not think it ever existed. i think its all hogwash, something to make us all go on a wild goose chase...............................
